AVR memorabilia: a coated (unused) spherical fuel element for the high-temperature reactor operated by AVR (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Versuchsreaktor GmbH). The inscription says "Ten years of power generation. 1967 - 1977".

The KFA is awarded the film prize of the "Wirtschaftsfilmtage Salzburg" for its documentary film "Weightless Spies". The 35 millimetre film shows how radionuclides are used in medicine.

This edition of the local newspaper "Jülicher Nachrichten" was placed in the foundation stone of the MERLIN research reactor. When the reactor was dismantled nearly 50 years later, the newspaper was recovered.
